User Profile

This is my first day of classes at X University and needless to say I'm becoming a little weary of my decision to further my education at this campus. I've encountered a few characters throughout the day; different in many ways, most good, but there have been a few that just might seriously affect the way my college experience pans out. My schedule is a little rough this year; not difficult but definitly inconvienent. I spend quite a few hours of every day wasting time until my next class. I'm a commuter with a good 40 minute to an hour drive so it's not as pleasant as it might seem. It won't be so bad once I really get into some of my classes and start getting loads of work dropped on me, it'll be like built in study halls, but until then I sit around campus 7 hours a day. It reminds me of those late night hours when your trying to relieve your boredom by watching T.V. except the only things on are infomercials where their trying to sell you the only diet supplement or workout equipment that's "proven to work". The boredom sets in more deeply with every passing success story. Today drug on forever. Hopefully everything will improve. I'll ride out my optimism a little longer before I give up completley and call it a loss. The hard part is over I suppose. Now that I have feel for how the days are going to go I at least have the option of coming prepared for the long hours that await me.
